Departmental Resources
A departmental library is maintained that is well-equipped with books from all the disciplines of Chemistry, catering to the requirements of students. There are four chemistry laboratories and Instrumentation rooms. The Laboratories have been upgraded and are well equipped with the instruments. We have the latest model of spectrophotometer, colorimeter, pH meters and conductometers that help students carry out experiments of the syllabus and those beyond curriculum as well. The department has a well-stocked store for both apparatus and chemicals. The laboratories and stores are maintained by a team of dedicated support staff. Keeping in view the environmental concerns of chemicals, the principle of 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is being adopted for experiments wherever possible.
