Departmental Activities

• 37^thInter University North West Zone Youth Festival 2023-24: Our college Haryanvi Group Dance team, One Act Play Hindi, On the Spot Photography and Installation teams participated in 37^th Inter University North West Zone Youth Festival 2023-24 held at M.D.U., Rohtak from 9^th to 13^th Feb. 2024 and won 4^th position in Haryanvi Group Dance, One Act Play Hindi & On the Spot Photography whereas Installation won 1^st position.
• Yuva Samvad India@2047: The Department of Music presented a very melodious Saraswati Vandana in Yuva Samvad India@2047 which was organized in Hansraj Hall by the NSS units of Dayanand College, Hisar on January 23rd, 2024. 

• 11^thUniversity Inter Zonal Youth Festival 2023-24 was organised by the Directorate of Youth Welfare, GJUS&T, Hisar from 28.11.2023 to 29.11.2023. Our college participated in all the five major categories i.e. Music, Dance, Theatre, Literary and Fine Arts. Our college lifted trophy in three out of five major categories. Our college had the honour of lifting  the Overall Trophy consecutively third time in a raw and thus also had the honour of retaining the Running Trophy permanently. • Zonal Youth festival(Zone-B) 2023-2024 was held at MLB college, Bhiwani Rohilla from 14^th to 16^th October 2023.  Our college cultural teams participated in 43 events and created history by winning recommended position in 18 events and commended position in 13 events and lifted the overall winners trophy.  
• In 4^th Haryana State Yogasana Sports Championship 2023 the Department of Music presented Haryanvi Orchestra on 7^th and 8^th October 2023 which was organized by Dayanand College, Hisar.
• Talent Hunt Competetion for the session 2023-2024 was organized by the college as per the guidelines of GJUS&T, Hisar. 
• Inter-University Youth Festival 2022-23: Twenty Two students of our college participated in 36^th Inter-University North- West Zone Youth Festival - 2023 held at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana from 24.01.2023 to 28.01.2023 in the following events:

  (i) Group Song (General-Indian)

  (ii) Group Dance Haryanvi

  (iii) Mime

  (iv) Skit (Hindi)

  (v) Classical Instrumental (Solo) Percussion

Our college participated in all the five major categories i.e. Music, Dance, Theatre, Literary and Fine Arts. Our college lifted trophy in all the five major categories. • The students from the Department of Music presented Saraswati Vandana & Haryanvi Orchestra in Alumni Meet held in the college on 29.05.2021.
• The Department of History organised an Exhibition on 125^th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 25^th February, 2021 in which 02 students from the Department of Music namely Chetan, B.A. II and Shrikant, B.A. I sang Raagni and received mementos for their outstanding performance.
• The Department of Music organised an Intracollege Instrument Playing Competition on 19.02.2021. Some of the students who participated in the competition are Parveen B.A.II, Vishal B.A.I, Abhishek B.A.I, Shrikant B.A.I, Sunil B.A.II, Chetan B.A.II, Jaspreet, Rakesh B.A.II, Tanisha B.A.I, Nikita B.M.C.I, Lovenish, B.A.III, Mandeep B.A.III. On the occasion the winners were given away the prizes.
• Eleven students from the Department of Music participated in an online theatre workshop held on 16.12.2020 organised by The Abhivyakti Club, Directorate of Youth Welfare, GJUS&T, Hisar.

• 9th University Youth Festival was held at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar from 07.11.2019 to 09.11.2019.  Our college cultural teams comprising 108 participants participated in  44 events; with recommended position in 11 events & commended position in 12 events our college lifted  not only the Overall Youth Festival Trophy but the Running Trophy as well.
