History:

Since its establishment in 2006, the Department of Music has always been providing continuous training to the students in almost every style of singing like Shastriya Sangeet,  Dhrupad, Khayal, Tarana, Thumri, Sugam Sangeet and Folk  Music through its planned and innovative course i.e. BA with Music Vocalwhich enables the students to reveal themselves in a very versatile manner.The faculty too, since its inception, has never looked back and is constantly & successfully teaching the students the very art of mastering the skills of Music (Vocal).The department is well equipped with various musical instruments like Harmonium, Banzo, Tabla, Dholak, Electronic Tanpura, Manual Tanpura, Electronic Guitar, Synthesizer, Nagara, Sarangi, Congo, Drum Set, Tasha and many other instruments pertaining to Classical and Haryanvi Culture. The department not only caters to the needs of the students of Music (Vocal) but also to the needs of the students of the college in general. It enables the youths in channelizing their energy in developing positive outlook toward life. The department has always been persistently making efforts to cultivate and enhance the artistic skills of the students which ultimately lead to their increased productivity and output.
